The Credibility You Seek, The Transformation You Need – the Global Executive MBA in Shanghai (GEMBA) is an innovative EMBA program offered by University of Southern California (USC) in partnership with Shanghai Jiaotong University, featuring the same faculty and curriculum as USC Marshall School of Business’ top 10 ranked EMBA program in the States. Fareeda started her advertising career at JWT Melbourne Australia in 1995, and joined Ogilvy & Mather Advertising in Beijing as Business Director and Training Director in 2004. She contributed to many successes for both International and local brands like Ford, GSK, COFCO, Great Wall Wine, Siemens. In 2011, Fareeda was the first representative from China to become Cannes International Advertising Festival as the Cyber Lions Jury. She joined Hylink Digital Solution Co. Ltd as the Chief Strategy Officer. She has helped the company to become China’s No. 1 full serviced digital solutions agency, and was appointed head of the Hylink Data Technology Centre, the core driver of digital marketing digitalization, in 2016.

John is a sixteen-year veteran of the industrial automation discipline, including assignments in both North America and Asia. He has significant expertise designing plans, engineering advanced manufacturing processes, and launching/overseeing international programs. Prior to his current role with Nike, John was with General Motors for eleven years, in a variety of engineering leadership roles, including development and installation of robotic assembly lines for manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Mexico, Korea, China, Thailand, and Australia. He also played an integral role in the design of several robotic manufacturing technologies that are now standardized toolsets in the company's toolbox.

John Van Fleet’s Asia career spans ten years based in Japan (1991-2000) and fifteen in greater China (to present). He has extensive experience throughout the region in education, business development, operations and marketing, and has been leading the collaboration between USC and SJTU for most of his time in China.
